Hi everyone!

Finals are quickly approaching, it’s getting warmer, (and rainy... April Showers and May flowers, am I right?) and surely, the Derby and Summer break is on everyone's’ mind! While these are, of course, exciting things to be thinking about, Human Prosperity is also winding down. Let’s look at what we’ve accomplished these past few weeks!!

Hoops for Hope was such a success! Our guest speakers, volunteers, and teams had an awesome time on the court for the March of Dimes. We were so happy with the turnout for this first year event-- we couldn’t have been happier!

Next, we very recently had our last event of the semester: Run for Rosie! This was near and dear to our committees’ heart, and we feel so honored to have been able to provide a way to educate, raise awareness, and even benefit the Cystic Fibrosis foundation, as well as the The Melanie and Rosalie Albright Foundation. Check out their Facebook page here!!

Our outcome was higher than expected for the event and we were elated! Just a perfect example of how hard work pays off!

As a final note, John and I just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work, support, and looooove we saw from the UofL community this year. We truly could not have done it without!

I’ll leave you with a haiku about our experiences this year:

The year is ending
We are making change, progress
Hard work really pays off!!! <3

Thank you all again-- we have enjoyed working for and with you all! #GoCardsForever
