As a rising senior, I have gained a multitude of experiences from being on the Engage Lead Serve Board. My freshman year I was part of the Green Initiatives Committee, which helped me realize the small efforts we can make to help the earth. A couple years later, I found myself in the position of Director of Human Prosperity. While in this position, I was able to lead new committee members toward ending social inequality through service and educational opportunities about various socioeconomic issues. Within the community of Louisville, we work closely with Wayside Christian Mission where we serve those experiencing homelessness. I am honored to be the Director of Human Prosperity for the second year and I look forward to working with my wonderful Associate Director, Mallory Mitchell in the future. Hello all ELSB lovers! As a freshman, I joined the Human Prosperity committee due to Freshman LEAD (another awesome ELSB program!) and was impressed and fell in love with the topics we bring to light: socio-economic disparities and issues within U of L, Louisville, and across the world. I’m happy to announce that we will be continuing our awesome partnership with Wayside Christian Mission here in the Ville -- there’s that old saying: if you want to change the world, start at home! I am extremely excited to work with John Rhodes, the Human Prosperity ELSB director. I’m honored to be on the board, and give back to the lovely U of L community!
